In the beginning of year, representing iPhone at MacWorld’07, Jobs has named the rough plan of iPhone release in various regions of a planet: in USA in the middle of the year, in Europe - by the end of year, and Asia and other parts of the world - in 2008. However it is not excluded, that Asia, to be exact only some countries, can outride Europe and receive Apple iPhone this year.

As we already informed last week, Apple continues to negotiate with European carriers of cellular communication. Yes, they can be finished next month, but to integrate Apple iPhone in a network of providers can take more than one month. Thus the real date of iPhone release in Europe is called the Christmas time.

All is much easier in South Korea. Operator KT Freetel who now takes the second place in the country, has confirmed desire to become Apple’s partner in iPhone distribution. But representatives of KT Freetel have declared that they are ready to cooperate with other manufacturers of smartphones too, but however Apple iPhone is the first priority.

But the leader of South Korean cellular communication SK Telecom company waits for this moment. On Friday the company has declared, that wishes to expand the assortment of devices, but yet does not negotiate with manufacturers.

It is necessary to notice, that the South Korean market of cellular communication will be one of the heaviest for Cupertino. The matter is that the positions of local manufacturers (like Samsung, LG etc.) are traditionally strong on this market, and besides it CDMA standard has the greatest popularity in these countries. So it will be necessary to convince people to change not only the device, but also a platform.
