Gizmodo today has published the first photos of Microsoft’s Zune 2 and Zune Flash players. This is the main plan of Redmond, and also confidential weapon of Microsoft which shoul become the main competitor of new Apple’s iPod Nano in this Christmas season.

Of course for this moment officially statement has not been declared yet, but reliability of this photo was confirmed at once two independent sources.
As we can see on the image, Zune player’s exterier practically hasn’t changing - even Zune Flash represent only reduced copy of the full-size colleagues without any deviations from “Microsoft’s models line”. Zune 2 flash-memory will be increased to 80GB, and Zune Flash will have flash-memories of 4GB and 8GB.
On a photo it is not clear, whether these players will be equipped by an old-fashioned push-button control system or Zune will receive a clone of fashionable touch wheel of new iPods.

It is necessary to admit, that Apple’s new iPod players will be presented on the fifth of September.
