As we know, what all owners of unlocked iPhone’s were afraid of has happened - the fatal consequences of the upgrade of the iPhone’s software up to version 1.1.1. In the beginning of week many of us has dreamed of hundreds and thousand exterminated (in other words - “bricked”) Apple’s gadgets, and top-manager of Apple Phil Schiller had to declare special announcement: that Apple do not plan to spoil life to especially advanced iPhone’s enthusiasts, but Cupertino do not take the responsibility for all 3rd-party apps preinstalled into iPhones, so Apple do not guarantee correct operation of this apps after update. Now, we already understand all consequences of iPhone 1.1.1 Update, it is possible to state, that installation of this “iPocalypse” update can develop as a minimum in three different ways:
The first way - original Apple iPhone with AT&T contract and the standard suite. All is predicted: installation of 1.1.1 update is easy and without any problems, all honest happy American owners of iPhone rush to the nearest hotspot and personally test mobile iTunes Store version.
The second way - original Apple iPhone with a set of 3rd-party applications preinstalled from Installer.app utility. In this case upgrade passes without problems too, however access to the “left” software becomes impossible. Programs, however, remain in iPhones memory.
The third way - unlocked Apple iPhone: strange, but 1.1.1 update could be installed on unclamped copies of Apple’s gadget without any problems. But all problems start after iPhone’s reboot: on the screen appear the message (” Incorrect SIM “) and advice to repeatedly activate the device. The SIM-card, by the way, is OK, however the most obvious method to reanimate your gadget and to receive new in the nearest AT&T shop has not worked:

When you try to insert a completely new AT&T SIM-card into your dead iPhone, well, it doesn’t help at all. The same message (” Incorrect SIM “). This sad photo has been called in the Web brick.jpg, however iPhone is not bricked in continue to “function”. Well this is it for now, iPocalypse 1.1.1 update is still unsolved problem for all smartest hackers of the world, but as we know nothing is perfect inthis world.
